Synopsis: Johnny Depp returns to the big screen as the iconic, swashbuckling anti-hero Jack Sparrow in the all-new Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales, a rip-roaring adventure that finds down-on-his-luck Captain Jack feeling the winds of ill-fortune blowing strongly his way when deadly ghost sailors, led by the terrifying Captain Salazar, escape from the Devil’ s Triangle bent on killing every pirate at sea— notably Jack.
Marketing / Promotion: Host a Pirate Party at the theatre opening weekend. Encourage all attendees and employees to come dressed as pirates. Hand out prizes in a variety of categories, including; Most Original, Scariest, Sexiest, and Funniest. Create concession specials inspired by the movie. Look to team up with businesses that will sell tie-in merchandise to the movie, including books, games, clothing, and more. Engage users on social media to share their favorite characters and scenes from the other films. They can also answer trivia questions about the other movies and the film’ s stars. Promote on-line viewing of the great trailer.
