A New Partnership
Two major anime licensing comapnies, Funimation and Crunchyroll, are joing together to create the ultimate anime experience. The two companies plan to share rights of anime titles, as well as providing varios convienent ways to view anime. Funimaton is contributing their subbed anime titles to Crunchyroll, making the rights to popular animes such as Pyscho Pass (one of my favorite animes), and Cowboy Bebop, a beloved anime classic. Funimation also plans on making some of Crunchyroll's titles available on other platforms, such as DVD and and Blu-Ray. Crunchyroll is allowing Funimation to access and create dubbed versions of their selection, starting with 91 Days and Orange. Overall, this partnership seems to be good for all parties involved.
