Please join me in recognizing Shearon Austin for her exceptional customer service skills!
Last week, a patient presented to Weinberg for a CT appointment.
While waiting for his exam, the patient approached Shearon stating that he had soiled his clothes and inquired about a change of clothes.
After contacting several places, Shearon was able to retrieve a patient gown and pants from Oncology.
However, the story doesn’t end there…
Shearon took it upon herself to go the extra mile.
She called around in search of laundry services. Eventually she was able to locate a washer and dryer in Physical Therapy (Meyer).
She retrieved the patients clothes and had them washed and dried during her lunch break.
She was able to return to him, dry and clean clothing upon the completion of his scans.
Thank you Shearon for going above and beyond the call of duty!
