FROZEN ANIMALS
We asked our students what would happen to water if we left it outside during the night . Most of them said thet it would turn into ice. We decided it to test it, to make it more attractive for our students we also froze their favourite animals.Next day we brought the huge block of ice with frozen animals to the classroom and asked the students what would be the best way to make the animals free and melt the ice. We provided them with salt, soda and sugar (dyied red). Salt appeared to be the best to help our animals to get out from the ice .
FOAMING SNOWMAN
As the winter came to our school, we decided to make a snowman but with a little twist. We used the following ingredients to make our snowmen: baking soda (2 cups), salt (2 tablespoons), water (8 tablespoons), diahsoap (1 tsp), we mixed it all together and formed ''snowballs' for the snowmen. After our snowmen were ready we melted them using vinegar.
