Recently, to respond to China’s ‘Belt and Road
Initiatives’ policy exports have been made to
Russia, Turkey, Iran, Vietnam, Syria, India,

other countries. The Huatai Mining jumbo is
already relatively well known in the underground
mining and tunnelling industry. Models include the
12.5 t HT81 hydraulic drilling jumbo which is
mainly used for tunnel construction in metal mines
and other underground engineering projects.

short turning radius and strong gradeability, thus

has a Montabert HC50 drill with hole depth of up
to 3,900 mm. Its dimensions are 11,050 mm/1,850
mm/2,340 mm (LxWxH).

Jiangxi Province, is a professional manufacturer
of underground mining and tunnelling
equipment, such as drilling jumbos, mucking
loaders, LHDs and underground trucks, concrete

transportation equipment (shuttle cars and rail
wagons). Siton told IM that it has exported
equipment to over 30 countries, including Russia,
Norway, Croatia, Iran, Lebanon, Colombia, Peru,
Chile and several countries in southeast Asia.
One successful case saw a rubber wheeled
single boom jumbo drilling of model DW1-31
delivered to Shahin Mining Co Ltd in Iran, which

The SITON DW1-31 single boom runner wheeled
drilling jumbo in Iran
main ramp with about a 5 m width and 4.5 m
height, with the extraction tunnel also having
same dimensions (cross section area is about 20-
22 m 2 ), a very high rock hardness of more than
100 MPa, and a 20% slope. This particular
machine has a Montabert HYD300 drill as
standard, or a HC50 as an option. It drills hole
diameters of 36-102 mm and is also equipped
with HELAC rotary actuators with high rotation
torque. Other models include the single boom
DW1-90 with HC109 drill as standard and HC110 as
an option; and the double boom DW2-50 with
