Waiting for Henry at
Gravity Studios
At GRAVITY STUDIOS, Waiting for
Henry's EP The Gospel of Moby Grape was
released in June. The album was tracked at
Gravity with owner Doug McBride. Also at
Gravity, the latest YouTube music series
episode #SignalFlow featuring @MFnMelo
is now online.
At RANGER STUDIOS, bands on the
showcase stage included Rachel's Bully,
OD Jo, and The Cave Dwellers. The
Hoods, Special Blend, and Looney Train
recorded a video on the showcase stage.
At AP RADIO AND RECORDING, The
Astronaut tracked a debut opening session,
and Moonbreath recorded three songs.
At MYSTERY STREET STUDIOS in
Lakeview, alternative rock veterans Push33
recorded their 10-song album Ode to the
Family. The album was engineered and
mastered by Nick Novak and features
transplanted Irish singer Derbhile Fabie on
vocals and keyboards, Steven Perna on
guitar, Max Perna on bass and CL Fabie on
drums and clarinet. They band plays Elbo
Room on Sunday, July 28.
At SONIC PALACE STUDIOS Chicago
rockers The Outfit have started tracking
new music for the sophomore album.
Drummer Mark Nawara says, “We were
able to test a lot of the new songs out on the
road live last fall and we received a great
reaction from the crowds. More details in
