rossi & BLAKe When we spoke to the two, they just came back from a shoot. ROSSI & BLAKE is a styling and photography agency created by two good friends: Dorian and Rose. They like to work in a clean, aesthetic and stylish manner. They love to tell stories in every single image they make. With clients such as Metromode, Marie Claire & Womens Health, they have enough work on their hands. But if they could wish for more they’d certainly wish for brands like Viktor&Rolf and COS. They would also love to work with magazines like Italian Vogue. Dorian and Rose test their limits by seeing just how far they can incorporate their style into an assignment of a client. Their best friends would describe them as creatives who are very chaotic but yet spontaneous and real go-getters. They learnt a lot and found just the right balance in making their costumers as well as themselves happy: “we’re diverse in delivering work but sometimes clients want an exact trend or typo that is often seen, specifically because it is trendy. Then we try to go along with those wishes!” What did you learn at Willem de Kooning University? If you ever hope to run into this creative duo, try the ALOHA bar in Rotterdam. When agencies from New York discovered our work on Instagram and appreciated what we did. Also when a client is completely satisfied with a project we did, because we gave them everything we had and showed them what we had in store. We work really hard so that we can keep doing what we love. #lifegoals? Becoming a little more famous within the right group of people and brands. As long as we can do what we do we’re very happy, I know this might sound cliché, but it’s definitely the truth. 30
