IHS-Trained Workers Report Encouragement from the Field
Vera reported from Siberia: “When my patient, a nurse and
wife of a head doctor in a local clinic, entered my consulting
room, she noticed my Bible calendar. She asked about it and
I told her that I am a believer and a follower of Jesus. She
excitedly told me that she had just became a Christian and
has a lot of questions. I introduced her to International
Saline. Now she wants to learn how to be an effective
witness at her work.
Another story concerns a doctor at our clinic, who is
going through a tough situation: her husband had a brain
tumor. He lost his memory and could hardly walk, and he
needed to undergo an urgent operation. However, surgeons
in our town do not perform such operations—they are not

attending the International Saline training session, I understand that I am at the right
place to serve the Lord. It is so clear for me now, and I bless the Lord.’”
