How would you describe your Action Learning Project and the difference you hope it will make to
advance your organization’s mission (or the field) and benefit the individuals you serve?
The Clinical Ladder Program will encourage the professional development of the direct care nursing staff of the Transitional Care
Unit through demonstrated high quality evidence based nursing care and advancement of individual practice. The program will
provide advancement opportunities for the staff nurses, recognizing and financially rewarding demonstrated achievement of clinical
excellence. With this program we also hope to increase job satisfaction and enhance recruitment and retention of the nursing staff.
This project will support our mission by contributing to the overall quality of care and patient satisfaction on our unit.
