Hiring activity has risen to well above pre-pandemic levels in a uniquely buoyant year for sales . Salespeople are a key driver of expansion plans , with recruitment activity following hot on the heels of investment . This year has seen a surplus of new senior roles , plus numerous junior positions to backfill skills . Remote roles are increasingly common , with many employers only requiring that sales and account managers work from somewhere in their target region . Little wonder , then , that experienced leaders now expect a premium for their service . Many are currently achieving full bonus OTE , further inflating rates . Highest demand is for mid-level talent , where only highly proactive recruitment processes are yielding results . Salaries will likely rise well above this year ’ s benchmark . Product and project leaders are generally expected on-location , though hybrid roles are now the default .
