GIG MEDIA Q1 REVIEW
WITH THE STRATEGIC review having settled the future for parent Gaming Innovation Group with a split of the media business from the sports technology platform , and with chief executive Richard Brown subsequently announcing his departure to join Glitnor at the start of next year , the moment of greatest disruption is likely behind the company .
Still , going by the recent performance of the Media business , an observer could be forgiven for asking “ what disruption ?”
Revenue reached another all-time high at € 18.4m , 31 % up year-on-year and showing organic growth of 8 %. Excluding the AskGamblers acquisition , revenue was up 13 % year-on-year . Adjusted EBITDA rose 17 % to € 8.1m while FTDs soared 59 % to 110.8k .
