to myself that a dinner out with friends is SUPPOSED to involve enjoyment, delight, and even a certain level of disinterest in the food, as well as a bit of indulgence from time to time. Trying new things, tasting interesting appetizers, and gobbling up my favorite steak and sweet potato is simply okay in every way. It is fun. It is nourishing. It is accepted. It is intentional, yet requires less than a thought, and certainly not a worry.
