God completely thwarts the projects by pagan peoples,* while His projects firmly stand forever. The situation in Cuba is turning increasingly difficult; many have lost the perspective and are persevering in the false piety and the capricious and stubborn ideas that prevent aligning with God and conceal the true intentions of the heart. With such a loss of vision, one moves away every day from the secret plans that God has for our nation. The principality of this century, the deceits and the lies, have led to a spiritual paralysis, but... Has God rejected His People? Not at all. He will neither abandon His people nor forsake His inheritance. And for that reason, a remnant chosen by grace was brought to other lands to thwart any plot and any argument that could be raised up against Him. God is neither a lying man nor a son of man for repenting. What He promised will be fulfilled. God could not be mocked, because the earth and its fullness are His. Along these years, Cubans have been through deep conflicts, which are just different tentacles of the great dragon. The latter captures and does not let go until destruction is completed unless you repent of your evil deeds. So, we could see that scene experienced by the people in which many, wantonly encouraged, vociferously shouted the horrific slogan: Firing squad! during a trial with massive popular attendance that exposed feelings of hatred and resentment. Such a rejection has remained until now in the hearts of an entire generation. What does anybody have to do with what happened, if he or she had not been born or was a very little child at the time of the events? Since his or her parents or grandparents were present, and those events marked the history of Cuba by violating the covenant made with God, he or she do have to do with it. And given that all what we do and say has consequences, today we collect the bad fruits from the trees planted yesterday. We carry on our shoulders the burden of what our ancestors did. We can only cry out to God to have mercy and to forgive the sins of all, since the Cuban people lives in a country full of spiritual calamities, uncertainty and resignation, amid the most basic poverty of spirit and impiety.
