engineer, writer and essayist. He
lives in Santa Clara, in central
Cuba. He graduated from the Literary
Training Center Onelio Jorge Cardoso
and has received the awards "Enrique
Labrador Ruiz" in 2003 and 2004, as
well as the scholarship "El caballo de

coral - The coral horse" in 2004. The
editorial “Sed de Belleza [Thirst for
Beauty] published his book of short
stories Para pintar la nada [In order to
paint the nothingness]. I recently visited
him at home and could ask some questions about his work and the literature
of our time.
