many bus stops in Alamar with no
benches to sit on when waiting. We took
chairs and did a poetry reading at the bus
stop for a few hours. The action
generated a sharing of opinions in which
municipal government agents, police,
and everyday citizens, participated. That
is when I realized that our art was
capable of creating “satisfactors”: means
with which to satisfy a need.
