First LEED Stadium in Worldcup

Brazil World Cup 2014 introduced to the world the first lead stadium in the world certified by the US green Building Council. The stadium is considered archtiecturally a state of art by its special shape and as a LEED stadium.

With a max. capacity of 46K and a cost of $288 million Arean Amazonia showed the world that you can be iconic structures and green as well.

Arena da Amazônia (Amazon Arena) is the name of a football stadium in Manaus, Amazonas, Brazil, located on the former site of the Vivaldi stadium. The stadium has an all-seater capacity of 46,000 and was constructed from 2010 to December 2013. It will host matches of the 2014 FIFA World Cup.
