Students encouraged to apply for grants
LWPT was created to assist lay and clerical people in local church-based ministry . We now do this through three distinct ministries ; better Bible-based communication in every setting , Bible-based resources , and tuition grants for those who wish to study towards a life in ministry .
We can award grants of up to £ 2,000 for tuition fees and £ 500 for books and resources .
It ’ s this last ministry that we wish to bring to your attention . We have so many people applying for tuition grants from so many UK based denominations . But , surprisingly , given our history , applications from Methodist and Wesleyan students are rare .
Our charitable constitution means that we have some funds that have been restricted to Methodists and Wesleyans only . So please encourage those who are pursuing certificates , diplomas and undergraduate degrees in Biblebased studies to apply . We ’ re keener to give than you might imagine .
Our grant application page can be found at lwpt . org . uk / vocational-grants and our next deadline for completed applications is Friday 2nd May 2025 . Our grants programme is only possible through the generosity of donors . We thank them all for their continued support .

Please be aware that LWPT only sells Bible Month through its official shop on its website at preachweb . org and has never authorised the sale through Amazon . We believe this is a scam and advise you not to place any orders .
