Announcing Webinar Number 4
This autumn will see our fourth Webinar . This time we focus on disability and once again we have a stellar line-up of speakers . They are Rev Katie Tupling , author and Anglican priest and the Oxford Diocesan Disability Adviser , who has cerebral palsy ; Rev John Naudé from Point Church , a wheelchair user and part of the New Wine network and Bernice Hardie , founder of WAVE Church , a new expression of inclusive church . We hope to confirm a date for the end of September or early October .

A huge “ thank you ” to everyone who has given to LWPT this year and helped support the next generation of preachers . In our latest round of grant giving , we gave funding to 12 applicants , including one person in extreme need , with a grant from our hardship fund .

Our CEO Gets Out and About
Our CEO , Ian Buchanan ( who is also LWPT ’ s National Advocate ), visited West Devon on the weekend of 2nd July . Ian spoke at Bridge Street Methodist Church in Hatherleigh and at Fairplace Methodist in Okehampton .
Both events were well attended , not least because people could enjoy being together after so many years of pandemic closures . Clearly , many LWPT supporters are keen to see increased investment in the next generation of church leaders right across the UK .
