Maria Avellan
Maria Avellan works in the Finance Department as a Finance Assistant. Maria
majored in Business Accounting and wants to pursue an MBA in the future.
She is very happy to work in such a welcoming environment!
Lauren Bell
Lauren Bell was born and raised in San Bruno, CA. As a young child, Lauren
was heavily involved in sports. After 8th grade graduation, she was accepted
into Sacred Heart Cathedral in San Francisco, where she had a very successful
four years as a student athlete and was offered a full athletic scholarship to
Pepperdine University in Malibu, CA. At Pepperdine, she played basketball all
four years and received her BA degree in Psychology. She then went on to play
professional basketball in Europe (Poland, Czech Republic, Bulgaria, Cyprus)
but after a nagging knee injury, she decided it was time to hang up her shoes.
Months later, she was offered the Dean of Students position at ICA. She operates
a basketball camp in the summer called “Above Average Hoops.” Her most recent
accomplishment was becoming a licensed realtor.
Melania Mora
Melania Mora moved to United States from Venezuela. She studied engineering
at Fermin Toro University in her country. Now she works in the Finance
Department as a Finance Assistant. In her free time, Melania loves dancing and
working out and she is passionate about literature, politics, and animals. In the
near future she wants to complete CISCO certifications in order to pursue her
career in engineering. Melania is grateful for working in ICA with an amazing
group of people.
