Knitting is very fun once you learn how to do it. It improves your focus a lot!! Also, it makes elegant things, so something good does come out of it. Besides, when you accomplish something nice, you feel good about yourself. It improves concentration and requires focus. If you mess up one part, the whole scarf, mitts, shirt or whatever you're doing is wrecked. It teaches you more than just focus. It also teaches you patience. For example, when you knit, it doesn't always go so well and you may have to start over. If you lack patience, this might not be the hobby for you.
Something pleasing about knitting is that you can also sell what you make. This is something that's fun to do and you can make money off off it. But it's not like your making money while doing something drab. Your making money while doing something enjoyable.
