feature story MY HISTORY I hold my home towns of Central Florida and New Haven Ct close to my heart. After graduating from Dr. Phillips High school, much of my journey began, from Miami University (OH) all the way to Nicholls State University “down in the bayou” in Thibodaux LA. I then went on to play for the Green Bay Packers in the National Football League. After being released, I continued my transition through the Canadian Football League, but also for the NFL Europe. So, I guess you can say my football career went worldwide. Although I didn’t play for long, my love and passion for the game stayed with me and transitioned into what is now my career. Having been a licensed real estate professional for over 10 years now, I have had my hands in all forms of real-estate throughout Central Florida and beyond. By surrounding myself with my family and those who matter most, I knew another breakthrough was bound to happen. Life is about breakthroughs, triumphs, dreams, disappointments and making it through this game called life successfully! I’m proud of the man that I have become and feel confident that my purpose is revealing itself with every handshake and every motivational speech given.. Our journey together began over 7 years ago and I look forward to 70 more. When they say that every successful man has a strong woman behind him it’s true and she’s mine! We reconnected back in 2011 and I made her Mrs. McMillan in 2016. The one thing I can definitely say about our Union is that we do not believe in 50/50. We have adopted the philosophy of 100/100. There is no I in TEAM! Our family is the most important team that I am apart of and my continuous job is to go above and beyond for them. A real man, does what needs to be done and prays for sleep. When your family goals are bigger than your personal comforts, then you will always grind harder. As the good book says, “I am the head 26 IBASuccessMagazine.com | Feature Story
