TRUE HEROES AND HEROINES
teachers
“ He's my hero”. By a hero, I am not referring to a superhero or animated
cartoon who fascinates the tiny tots by performing various stunts. Let me
give you an instance. Think about a man who is travelling alone in a boat
trying to fight against the high waves and tides with no one out there to
support him, struggling for survival. But with the coming of a strong person
behind him, he is able to balance the turbulent situation. Similarly in life’s
boat also one needs a true hero to guide him/her and take him out from
all odds and hindrances in the path of life. Our perceptions of choosing a
true hero may be different but the qualities of any hero are always the
same. We don’t need a true hero to stand behind us at every stepping
stone. He/she is just an inspiration for us who we are impressed by and we
believe that his/her ideals will make us emerge victorious. Well! That is
about our personal hero. Now, let’s talk about a true hero. According to
me, a true hero is a person who dedicates his life for the benefit of others.
So, according to you all, who is a true hero? Probably Mother Teresa? –

An illiterate or a man without
education is no more than an animal.
Education emancipates the human
beings and leads them to the path of
knowledge and gets them liberated
from ignorance.
A teacher is a person who guides us ,
motivates us and show us the right
path. A teacher can be anyone –our
mother, father, an elder brother or
sister or our school teacher of course.
Teacher plays the very important role
of shaping the unriped earthen bowls
to make them a better human being, a
better citizen and lead a better life. –

SUMMER VACATIONS: LEARN WHILE YOU ENJOY!
What is the first thing that we all check as soon as we receive our new school diaries? Most of us, with a big grin, will say the commencement of the Summer Vacations! And when they finally arrive, we start off with great enthusiasm- we
organise our work, make proper study-time-tables and study for long hours. However, with the passage of time, things get
monotonous. This is because students like us need to 'learn' to learn. We know what to learn, but not how to. When one
follows this DIY Approach, studies get exciting and fun. I personally believe that students should engage themselves in
special kinds of hobby clubs or intensive workshops, that rather than teaching school curriculum, teach children the
curriculum of the world. And when one pursues his/her passions, there's nothing in this world that seems dull and boring.
Lastly, students should make it a point to organise trips with their families. We all visit our grandmom's place every yearwhy not go to some historical place this year? Or a place having some scientific significance? Won't life be fun then??
Ofcourse, it would be. And that would prove that a balanced dose of enjoyment & studies is actually what every student
requires. – Mayank Sharma
