Be intentional about what you want
and why you want it. I had a coach
that once said, Speak what you
seek until you see what you've said.
As entrepreneurs, we make these
elaborate financial goals for our
businesses, but many of us have no
clear plan for how we are going
make it or spend it. Focus on getting
clients, income generating activities
and marketing to the right audience.
Don’t compare yourself to anyone!
So many people want to be like Lisa
Nichols but are they willing to make
the sacrifices that she has made to
be where she is today? It's unfair for
you to judge your chapter 2 by
Lisa’s chapter 52; it's unrealistic.
Give yourself, and business time to
grow, it may seem like it happens
overnight, but it takes time.
My business has made over
$100,000, but it didn't happen before
I was clear, had a plan and believed
that it was possible. Yes, I said that I
would make it many times, but it
didn't happen until my heart agreed
with my words and my words
aligned with my written plans.
Finally, invest in getting help, that
will be the difference between you
making your first 1,000, 100,000 or
1,000,000,000. You need good help
whether it means hiring a babysitter
so you can to the local Starbucks
and get work done, or hiring a
housekeeper. Do whatever you
have to do to focus on the things
you do well in your business. I have
a team. I don't do it alone, and I
know that's going to be the
difference between where I am
today and ten years from now.
This is the season of elevation; it’s
time to take your business to the
next level. Know that everyone is
not your client and be comfortable
with that. In a season of elevation,
there are going to be periods of rest
because of the doors that are about
to open for you so rest, eat well and
take care of yourself.
