Dear readers ,
It is with great pleasure that I present to you the seventeenth issue of Hydrogen Tech World , which features updates on the latest industry developments and insightful articles covering a range of relevant topics .
The cover story casts the spotlight on Stiesdal Hydrogen , a subsidiary of the Stiesdal climate technology group , which is paving the way for genuine industrialization of green hydrogen production . Recently , the Danish company delivered the first three units of its 3.1-MW HydroGen Electrolyzer , offering not only a completely new approach to electrolyzer configuration but also a fresh take on alkaline technology that enhances flexibility and applicability . In our interview with Esben Baltzer Nielsen , Head of Sales & Business Development at Stiesdal Hydrogen , we explore how the company is leveraging its experience in the wind industry to apply the principles of standardization , modularization , and industrialization to electrolysis for green hydrogen production .
Other highlights in this issue delve into an innovative technology for underground hydrogen storage , explore the challenges and emerging solutions associated with the decarbonization of aviation using green hydrogen , analyze various hydrogen applications and their life cycle GHG emissions using the 45VH2-GREET model to identify best use case applications for green hydrogen , and discuss the results of hydrogen embrittlement testing on austenitic stainless steel candidates for automotive applications .
Although nearly than two months have passed since the second Hydrogen Tech World Expo & Conference , the HTW team is still buzzing with excitement over what proved to be yet another highly successful gathering of experts and stakeholders from across the hydrogen value chain ! If you missed it , you can find a short event retrospective on pages 24 and 25 of this issue . Additionally , for those interested in the conference presentations , most of them are openly accessible on our website at https :// hydrogentechworld . com / presentations-24 .
Next year , Hydrogen Tech World will return with a high-end conference in Düsseldorf , Germany , where speakers from electrolyzer manufacturing companies , system integrators , and industrial users will focus on the integration of electrolyzers into industrial facilities . Preparations for this event are already in full swing , so mark your calendars for 13 & 14 May 2025 , visit our website for the latest information , and do not hesitate to reach out to our team if you are interested in sponsoring or speaking at this event .
The next issue of Hydrogen Tech World will be released in October . If you would like to contribute to the magazine , please feel encouraged to contact me at m . matosec @ kci-world . com .
