Moonlite Productions is an event
production company, set up in
1988, with extensive experience providing
a full suite of services to events.
The company has been providing
sound, lighting, staging, A/V
and much more for decades, and
it is using that experience to meet
the new challenges which Covid-19
has brought to the events industry.
In April of this year, the company
decided to invest £25,000 on additional
cameras, streaming equipment,
vision mixers and computers, all of
which enabled it to meet the rising
demand for hybrid and virtual events.
Managing director James Iyengar
says: “Covid has hit every area of business
in our industry very hard. We
made the decision in April that the
future of exhibitions and conferences
was probably going to be hybrid events.
“Moonlite have come up with
many solutions for hybrid events.
We can livestream to any platform
from YouTube and Facebook, or from
dedicated secure servers. We have
worked out a great way to integrate
with Zoom calls. We can also offer
recording, with or without a postedit
and upload direct from our
server. Most of all, we have seriously
worked out a way to do all of this without
detriment to our client budget.”
All of these solutions for hybrid
events are backed up by a wealth
of equipment to suit any occasion.
Moonlite’s stock is extensive – on the
staging front it can provide disabled
ramps, curved treads, handrails and
much more. The lighting equipment
includes moving heads, static LEDs
and generic. Sound equipment ranges
from the tiny to EV XLine Advance
line arrays, which Moonlite used to
cover Parliament Square with several
thousand people. It can provide
projectors up to 15000 Ansi Lumens
and screens from 1.8m to 6.5m, as
well as flatscreens from 32” to 75”.
Moonlite regularly provides power
distribution for fetes and festivals, and
has all the distribution and cables in
stock, as well as several 4K cameras
and all the streaming hardware. The
carpentry section is fully stocked, and
Moonlite constructs its own sets and
lecterns. It even has Autocue hardware
in stock. In short, the company
very rarely needs to sub-hire and
can fulfil all elements for an event.
Iyengar continues: “The ability
to provide a total technical solution
for any event is paramount.
Moonlite are now a true ‘turn key
solution’. The mix of Moonlite’s
business is very varied. It includes
conferences, rock and roll, fashion
shows, outdoor events, product
launches and installations, anything.”
Decades of experience
Beyond the wide range of equipment
which Moonlite can provide to all
kinds of events, including hybrid and
virtual events, the company brings
