Chi had gave me a kiss on the cheek as he brought me a lotus flower.
“How did you know I was Buddhist”, I said.
“Lucky guess”, Chi said.
“You shouldn’t cover such beauty”, Chi said as He moved my hair behind my ear.
I started to blush like crazy until I felt a rush against my body and I realized it had been a dream.
A dream I wished had come true.
Chapter 4; Chi Sinh 1963
Her lips were like magic and they felt so good. I felt the desire; it was very strong.
“Chi” my mother called out.
I heard she was talking to one of my neighbors but I wasn’t too concerned about her.
“Coming, Me (mother)” I said.
I walked down the stairs and I saw my neighbor was about to leave since I had to be polite to my

“Theres a letter on the kitchen table, will you go bring it and read it”, my mother asked.
“Sure” I said as I walked to the kitchen table.
My father was a soldier in the Vietnan war. He was fighting for the south because my family and
I live here. I opened the letter the front said it was from Ho chi Minh.
Dear Mai,
I am sorry to alarm you but your husband is in Mia (missing in action) or dead. We haven’t
found Tuan’s body but we are doing our best, to find his body. I have heard that he got shot by
his best friend but no details on the incident or details on the body.
