The Huntsville event features up to 92 teams with up to $10,000 in prizes. The event includes the “Baptized Texan Ceremony.” When: March 2, 11 a.m. Where: Sam Houston Gravesite Herb Festival A large variety of herbs, perennial, vegetable and pollinator plants grown by the Texas Thyme Unit and Herb Society of America will be for sale. Speakers, vendors, musicians and artists make for an interesting event. The event is free and open to the public.
