THE ENGAGEMENT OF & Ty Ledbetter Rylea Stone COUPLE Q&A When was the moment you knew you were meant to marry each other? I think we knew about six to eight months into our relationship that we would get married. What part of the wedding planning process are you most excited about? What are you not looking forward to? The wedding process is stressful, but the most exciting part was looking at all the venues we went to and fi nally deciding on Pearls in the Pines. As soon as we saw it, we knew that’s where we wanted to get married, and it’s also the fi rst one we went to. The part that I’m not looking forward to is all the stress that comes with planning a wedding. Are there any wedding trends that you think are overdone and want to steer clear of? I don’t think we’re going to avoid any trends, but we’re not really going to participate in any wedding trends either because we’re more old-school. We want our wedding to be more simple, rather than extravagant and fl ashy. What are three qualities you admire about each other? RS: His kindheartedness, how hard he works everyday and his creativity. Even though he may leave messes everywhere when he has his mind set on a project or anything, he makes sure to do it right. TY: Her smile, the way she helps people anytime that they need her and her honesty – even though it may come off rude sometimes, she will always be honest. What are you looking forward to most about married life? I think what we are most looking forward to in married life is being happy with each other for the rest of our lives, being able to grow together and expand our relationship and have a family one day. Do you think you’ll cry or get emotional on your wedding day? RS: I know I will get emotional and probably cry that day because the love I have for him is abundant. (He will probably try to act like he won’t get emotional, but he probably will.) TY: I’m not sure. HUNTSVILLE LIVING | WINTER 2020 | 29
