“ The dream ( of being a game warden ) is still being chased ,” said York .
York enjoys bringing smiles to community children , and in the recent past has revived her old costume wearing ways . At Scare on the Square , York has been seen dressed as Frankenstein .
York chose deeper faith and reading as great ways to clear her head . York worries that far too many people in the line of law enforcement aren ’ t seeking professional help after the intense situations faced by officers and jailers .
“ I think that mental health gets swept under the rug in a lot of companies , and in law enforcement ,” said York . “ You have to take care of each other when you work in a place like this ,” said York .
