I know I can call my sister or my mom to give sound advice or just listen to me vent . My daughter , Jayci and Kinleigh , brings all the positivity that I need . We do everything together from fishing , reading books , cooking , and shopping . I use funny stories involving them constantly in the classroom and my students love listening to our adventures . I hate saying my friends because they are more like my family . My friends keep me laughing . We take trips and enjoy our time together and they help me come back relaxed for the next school year . The biggest help that renew me is going to Second Huntsville . I have so much peace by being surrounded by a community of faith . Pastor Gary does a great job at providing me with encouraging spiritual refreshment with his sermons .
Who are some types of people that need to consider using their gifts in a classroom that might read this article ?
If you are reading this article and you are a natural leader that can guide and inspire young minds , teaching might be for you . If you are the type of person that can be patient , listen , and provide support , know that is a gift that not everyone has . We need people with diverse skills to make the classroom a place of inspiration . I ' m not going to say that teaching is easy , but it is worth it . Not a lot of jobs give you the opportunity to make a real difference every day . As a teacher , you can inspire , motivate , and encourage students to be the best version of themselves . The relationships you build with students , coworkers , parents , and the community are meaningful .
What do you do when the students aren ’ t around that is just for you ?
When my students are not around , I like to read . My friends Raylynn Davis and Taylor Cunningham constantly refer books to me . I like to sit back , relax , and read at the beach .
