self again through athletic competitions . He went from 230 pounds of muscle to 175 pounds of lean mass muscle .
“ I changed again . I did research on performance and recovery ,” he said . “ I immediately began reaping the benefits and started participating in half marathons .”
He did 4 by 4 by 24 challenges two times and again changed his mindset .
“ I ran every four hours for 24 hours , which was four times a day . I refused to limit my beliefs in my own capabilities ,” Didier said . “ When I hit rock bottom , I didn ’ t think highly of myself . Now , I know that I can achieve anything and everything I set my mind to .”
Didier knows that his journey made him better , led to a deeper relationship with himself .
“ That is who I bring to the table ,” Didier said . “ It is not ok to not be the best me for my family . It is my responsibility to see that my mindset leads to better relationships .”
So he set his sights higher and looked for an out-of-the-box challenge that would challenge his mind , body and spirit . He set that goal on purpose - a three-fold challenge .
“ In April , I found the Ironman Waco 70.3 , which is a half Ironman distance triathlon ,” Didier said . “ It was set for Oct . 16 and beyond anything I could imagine . I became laser focused and obsessed from the beginning to the start
