Students that attend this institution are able to work at whatever pace they enjoy but are expected to master each concept they are taught before proceeding within the classroom .

Conversational speaking is more common in comparison to traditional approaches to learning in this environment due to the unique independent learning style . A three year age range within groupings provides a pseudo-family environment that is perceived to make learning occur more naturally with help from older students .
