NEW WAVERLY INDEPENDENT SCHOOL DISTRICT

This school district educates students from kindergarten to high school in order to bring them a bright future . Alongside community stakeholders , New Waverly ISD teaches sample lesson plans and works to help students grasp difficult concepts while preparing them for careers outside of the classroom .

Its composition of elementary , intermediate , junior high and high schools allows a greater level of control when it comes to instructional plans and education programs . This allows the students of this district to navigate and innovate within a flexible system of state mandated instruction without confusion . In 2015 , New Waverly ISD received recognition that allowed it to institute a pre-designed lesson plan that meets the needs of the community it serves .

Career and technical programs are ample within the district and give students opportunities to learn about skills that peak their interests . Comprising technology , business marketing , finance , agriculture , culinary and family consumer sciences , New Waverly ISD surely offers a suite of non-traditional education opportunities alongside typically expected extracurriculars .

FAITH LUTHERAN SCHOOL

For small class sizes and exceptional educator involvement , look towards Faith Lutheran School . In combination with religious teachings and chapel services students are taught to achieve the heights of their potential .

Before and After school care is available for participating families . In cooperation , students are encouraged by faculty to take part in clubs after school hours like , cooking , drama or Lego club . Events are offered throughout the year as well so that students can participate and enjoy spelling bees , science fairs and lively cup stacking tournaments .

Challenging but entertaining curriculum is led by certified teaching staff over subjects that are common within Texas school systems like P . E ., math , science , social studies and english language arts . Latin instruction is an option for bi-lingual or spanish speaking students as well .
