Now take another piece of foam exactly the same as the lat step and tie it in at the opposite angle using figure eight wraps. You have to be careful here because if you wrap it incorrectly or bind down the first piece on accident, than both pieces will lay down to the sides of the fly too far.

If you have done the previous step correctly the top of the fly will look similiar to the one pictured at left. This will give you a nice bright spot to look at on the water.

At this point you want to tie in a piece of hackle directly on the side of the fly below the indicator strips. The piece should be proportionate, roughly as wide as the hook gap. You can use a hackle guage if you have one.

Wrap the hackle forward making sure to get a few wraps directly in the center of the indicator strips and than continuing forward getting a few wraps in front. Trim off the excess and whip finish and you are done!
