strengthening our network to 9,000 members
across 156 countries.

To welcome them, Chapters around the world are
planning events to introduce the new graduates to
existing alums in their local area. Find out more on

We’re also extremely proud to showcase our
Alumnus of the Year 2013, Cynthia Kaplan, who
truly embodies Hult's values and has been an
empowering force in the Mexican Hult alumni
community. In her interview, find out how her
unique personal and professional success made
her our Alumnus of the Year.

Another delight to tickle your tastebuds is this issue’s Alumni Spotlight, in which we interview two
alums to discover how they started their own ventures in the F&B industry and how they managed to
maintain their run of success in this famously fast-moving industry. From taco trucks to a very cool
shark-themed bar, we definitely enjoyed speaking to Roz Edison and Bryan Delaney.
This issue also marks the first full-year cycle of the Hult Alumni Magazine. Over the last year, we’ve
enjoyed bringing you stories from the world of Hult and introducing you to some of your fellow
alums. You'll have already seen and heard from Kathrine, but I also wanted to recognize two other
individuals, who have helped tremendously behind the scenes. Erica Callery is a copywriter at Hult
and she lovingly squeezes in some extra time to help contribute to this magazine. The lovely designs
are all thanks to Sam Sweeney, our graphic designer who takes our words and barrage of pictures,
and turns them into a great-looking magazine. Thank you both for all your hard work!
