Enter 5 POINTERS HUFFINGTON 04.07.13 EUROZONE HIT WITH RECORD HIGH UNEMPLOYMENT Unemployment in the eurozone has hit 12 percent, a record high since the currency was created 14 years ago, according to official European Union figures. In February, more than 19 million people were unemployed in the eurozone, almost two million more than a year before. “Such unacceptably high levels of unemployment are a tragedy for Europe and a signal of how serious a crisis some eurozone countries are now in,” said Laszlo Andor, the employment commissioner of the European Union. Unemployment across the EU as a whole in February was 10.9 percent. After sustaining a gruesome injury to his leg that stunned onlookers and brought many to tears, Louisville guard Kevin Ware is expected to join his team at the Final Four this weekend. Coach Rick Pitino told ESPN that the 20-year-old will “travel with the team to Atlanta” to watch the end of the NCAA tournament. Doctors performed surgery less than 24 hours after Ware broke his leg, and it didn’t take long for photos to reach Twitter of Ware up and about on crutches and posing with the team’s Midwest Region championship trophy.
