TODAY’S OPPONENTS We welcome to Keys Park the players, officials and supporters of Histon FC The phenomenal rise of Histon FC began at the turn of the 21st century when the club won the Eastern Counties Premier Division. The club spent four seasons in the Southern League Eastern Division achieving promotion twice in two seasons, finishing second in the Eastern Division in 2003/04 and winning the Premier Division of the Southern League at the first attempt in 2004/05. The club then only spent two seasons in the Conference South, winning it in the second season and clinching promotion to the Conference National, making it four promotions in eight seasons. Histon finished as high as third in the Conference in 2008/09 but have struggled since, eventually getting relegated in 2010/11 and the club's two seasons in Conference North have produced 16th and 19th place finishes. As well as progressing up the football pyramid at a rapid rate, the Stutes have had excellent success in the FA Cup. In 2004/05 Histon beat Shrewsbury Town 2-0 in the first round and in 2008/09 the club beat Swindon Town and Leeds United, which would have been one of the biggest shocks ever in FA Cup history in terms of the size of t
