We welcome to Keys Park the players, officials and supporters of
Boston United FC
Although we played Boston United during season
2008/09, my only visit to their York Street stadium
was during our Conference season in 2000/01. York
Street, or the Jakeman's Stadium as it is currently
named, is a fantastic ground in which to watch live
football. I understand the club only have a few more
seasons there so if you haven't been yet, make sure
you get to the away game in March. We may have
had a terrible season in 2000/01 and won only six
league games all season, but our performance at
Boston that season remains one of the best attacking
performances I've ever seen at a Pitmen away game.
We looked as if we could score every time we went
forward and when our left-back, Lee Colkin, was sent
off with 20 minutes to go with the score at 3-3, we
looked up against it, but in the last minute Scott
Bonsall (remember him?) completed his hat-trick for a
brilliant 4-3 w
