SUPPORTERS ASSOCIATION
Good afternoon and welcome back to Keys
Park for what will be another test against a
Boston United side that leapfrogged us in the
table during the week. For the first time this
season we find ourselves outside of the top
five, there will, of course, be disappointment in
that but we should also look at the fact that we
would have more than taken this position at the
start of the season and hopefully this afternoon
we can kick on once again.
Onto Supporters Association matters and it
was really encouraging to once again have a
good number of people turn up for what has
now become an annual Quiz Night at the turn
of the New Year. Not only did we see
supporters of the club but also fans from other
teams in the area and local residents turn up
for what was another successful evening at
Keys Park. I must thank Keith Harley and his
team of helpers for making the Quiz run like
clockwork. And once again Ian Pitt made good
returns on the raffle and a thank you should go
out to everyone that donated prizes for the said
raffle, whether it be individuals or local
businesses. The night returned a nice little
profit which will go towards helping the
Football Club in whatever way we see fit.
In the short term we haven’t got any more
events lined up, however, we are just finalising
the details on a function which we hope will be
of interest to all Hednesford Town supporters.
Hopefully information on the said event can be
released soon, once we have tied up a couple

of loose ends. I’m sure some of you can guess
what it might be, but until it’s announced it will
have to stay a secret for now. All I will say is make
sure your diary is free on Friday 23rd May!
Last Thursday will have seen our first meeting of
2014 taking place and hopefully it will have been a
well attended one. I should stress that these
meetings are open to all supporters to attend and
although we can’t answer questions directly about
the Football Club, if you have anything that you
feel may well b
