Daily Responsibilities of an HR Manager
The human resource manager is responsible for all aspects of employee development and management, and ensuring that the company recruits appropriate staff and sustains them in the long run. Although responsibilities of an HR manager vary from day to day, but the core functions remain the same such as recruitment, selection, performance appraisal, compensation and training and development. All of this revolves around issues related to employees ' activity.
Recruitment
The human resource function makes sure that the most deserving and qualified employees are placed in the most appropriate positions. When the need for hiring occurs, the HR manager develops a job description for prospective candidates, promotes the position, screens out the potential candidates and invites them for interviews. They also perform background checks and employee referrals to ensure a good fit.
Hiring and Firing
When a new employee is hired, the HR manager depicts the essential contractual paperwork and the employee is asked to fill out relevant tax documentation forms.
