The human resource manager is responsible for all aspects of employee development and management , and ensuring that the company recruits appropriate staff and sustains them in the long run . Recruitment
The human resource function makes sure that the most deserving and qualified employees are placed in the most appropriate positions . When the need for hiring occurs , the HR manager develops a job description for prospective candidates , promotes the position , screens out the potential candidates and invites them for interviews . They also perform background checks and employee referrals to ensure a good fit .
Hiring and Firing
