a clean metamorphosis is that you make conscious decisions about
what you want to adopt from your role model and what not.
Smoking is not healthy and if you want to stay healthy but also want
to be successful as an actor you can just ignore the role model’s
frailties. Pick what will make you happy. Ignore the rest.
Mistake #4 – You give up too early
This whole process can take weeks, months, even years so you
should brace yourself for this adventure. Don’t give up just because
you don’t get quick results. You want permanent results, don’t you?
You want to be and STAY successful, you want to be and STAY
beautiful, you want to be and STAY healthy.
Don’t get blinded by temporary results. Look at your notes from the
beginning. What exactly was your goal? Adjust your plan if needed.
Your Personal Strengths & Role Models
Based on the premise that what you notice and greatly appreciate in
others is also within you, we invite you to bring to the fore your role
models.
List 3 qualities or strengths for each of your Top 5 role models.
Choose anyone who has lived or is currently living. You may even
nominate a fictional childhood hero.
Draw a table or grid with two columns, one for the names of the role
models and the other for their respective strengths.
Once completed, scan the strengths and notice any repetition or
distinctive ones.
For example, does DECISIVE appear three times? Is INSPIRING a
quality that you really admire even though it shows up only once?
