In the summer of 2023, we started the construction of new cold store- and storage facilities.
It has always been essential to us to store our plants correctly, and the expansion gives us even greater opportunity to store them under absolute correct conditions. We have also implemented new technology, allowing us to control temperature and humidity to an even greater extent.
With 5,000 m 2 of cold storage, we have the capacity of storing 10,000 pallets with plants. The large capacity ensures that we can lift the plants prior to flushing, as well as make the most of good weather conditions for lifting- and when the weather does not allow lifting, we always have plants in the cold store.
We produce a major part of the electricity we use for our cold stores- approx. 50 % comes from our own solar cells on the roofs of our buildings.
Im Sommer 2023 haben wir mit dem Bau neuer Kühl- und Lageranlagen begonnen.
Für uns ist es schon immer sehr wichtig, Pflanzen im Kühlhaus richtig zu lagern, und die Erweiterung gibt uns noch mehr Möglichkeiten, sie unter absolut korrekten Bedingungen zu lagern. Außerdem verfügen wir über neue Technologien, wodurch wir Temperatur und Luftfeuchtigkeit noch besser steuern können.
Mit 5.000 m 2 Kühllagerfläche haben wir die Möglichkeit, 10.000 Paletten im Kühlhaus zu lagern. Das große Fassungsvermögen sorgt dafür, dass wir die Pflanzen rechtzeitig vor dem Austrieb roden können, und immer die guten Wetterbedingungen zum Roden nutzen können – und wir haben immer Pflanzen im Kühlhaus, wenn das Wetter das Roden nicht zulässt.
Einen Großteil des Stroms, den wir für unsere Kühlräumen verbrauchen, produzieren wir selbst – ca. 50 % stammen aus unseren eigenen Solarzellen auf den Dächern unserer Gebäude.
