(Think wedding planners, but for dental events). The School of Dentistry and the adjacent Cooley Conference Center are outstanding-yet-affordable venues for events, and with PACE team guidance, organizing big programs has never been easier. Dean John Valenza, DDS, created the PACE Center in 2016 to streamline services for dental professionals, whether UTSD alumni or colleagues in the community. The result is a one-stop shop for things important to dental professionals. (PACE is an acronym for “Professional Resources, Alumni Affairs, Continu- ing Education and Events”). The PACE Center has a can-do attitude and an interest in building relationships that matter.
