CONDITIONS
The Terms and Conditions of the Residence Life Contract
occurs after students choose housing. Once signed students
enter into a legally binding contract for the full academic year.
We highly suggest that students and their families read the
terms and conditions to fully understand our expectations.
Please note that by agreeing to these terms, students are
agreeing to the Student Code of Conduct and Housing
Guidelines. Copies of the contract are available on WebXpress,
the Residence Life Portal, or by contacting Residence Life at
[e-mail].
Cancellation Dates
If you need to cancel your housing, please submit a request to Residence Life & Housing
using the Release from Housing Contract request form on the Residence Life Portal under
Housing Information. Be aware that submitting a request is not an automatic approval. You
will be notified via email once a decision is made. Stevenson University highly recommends
you do not sign an off campus lease until you are officially notified of a decision.
April 29, 2018 - July 1, 2018: Requests for release of housing contract will be reviewed in
a timely fashion. Requests received during this time that are approved will be released from
the contract without penalty. If the request is not approved, this Contract and all its terms
remain in effect for the remainder of the Contract Period.
July 2, 2018 – August 24, 2018: Requests for release of housing contract will be reviewed
in a timely fashion. For requests received during this period that are approved, the Student
will not be refunded the housing deposit. If the request is not approved, this Contract and all
its terms remain in effect for the remainder of the Contract Period.
