Day 1: Siem Reap Day 1: Phnom Penh Day 1: Phnom Penh (L)
Arrive in Siem Reap and transfer to your hotel.
The rest of the day is spent at leisure. Arrive in Phnom Penh and transfer to your
hotel. Day 2: Siem Reap (B) Day 2: Phnom Penh (B, L) After breakfast, cycle to the Angkor Temple
complex where you will begin the Grand Circuit,
stopping at each major temple area. Late
afternoon, return to the temples by car for a
sunset view from Phnom Bakheng. Your full day tour includes a visit to the
Independent Monument, the Royal Palace
built by King Norodom in 1866 and the Silver
Pagoda. Also visit the Wat Phnom Temple,
Phnom Penh’s namesake. Enjoy a break for
lunch before visiting the notorious Tuol Sleng
Genocide Museum followed by the Killing Fields
of Choeung Ek. Arrive in Phnom Penh and transfer to your
hotel. Continue on for a sightseeing tour
covering the Independent Monument, the Royal
Palace and the Silver Pagoda. Next, head to
Wat Phnom Temple followed by an afternoon
visit to the Tuol Sleng Genocide Museum and
the Killing Fields of Choeung Ek.
Day 3: Siem Reap (B)
Today enter the temple complex by a much
quieter gate. Next, cycle into the countryside
and turn off the main tourist road to Banteay
Srei, visiting Banteay Samre on the way.
Day 4: Siem Reap (B)
Leave the crowds behind today and head
towards the small village of Roulous, home to
some of the earliest permanent structures built
by the Khmers. Continue on to the floating
village of Kampong Phluck. After a boat tour
around the village, you will either cycle or drive
back to the city.
Day 5: Siem Reap (B)
Enjoy time at leisure until your transfer back
to Siem Reap Airport where tour arrangements
end.
Day 3: Phnom Penh – Siem Reap (B, D)
Transfer to the airport for a flight to Siem
Reap. Enjoy a real insight into the Angkor period
and today’s Cambodian culture with visits to
the Angkor National Museum, the Artisans’
D’Angkor Silk Farm and The Old Ma
