36th Bangkok International Motor Show
Sells over 37,000 Cars !
Spanning across 47,000 square metres of
exhibition space at the Challenger Hall, Impact
Muang Thong Thani, the 2015 Thailand Motor
Show concluded with a closing ceremony on
the 5th of April. Attracting over 1.7 million
visitors over its 12 day run from March 25
to April 5, the show reportedly achieved a
whopping 37,027 car bookings.
This year’s show theme is “Art of Auto”,
symbolising the beauty within automotive
design. The show organisers also aimed to

support a 7-year fuel efficient and eco-friendly
industry-wide program spearheaded by the
Thai government, through showcasing some of
the latest developments in this area.
While new cars and trucks were a highlight of
the event, as shown by the launch of the new
Ford Ranger pickup, Suzuki Ciaz compact
saloon and various special edition Toyotas,
Car club cultures and their modified cars also
shared in the limelight. These included the
Nissan Cefiro Club, Evo Club, Swift Club,
a Mazda Club and of course, a Honda owners
