business. What exactly does that open up for hotel owners and operators, designers, and procurement professionals? Kastl: Ambiente Projects is our umbrella for planning, furnishing and equipping. It bundles the offers relevant to the international project business across HoReCa, Hospitality Interiors, and Contract Business. For hospitality professionals, this is important because hotel projects rarely fit into a single product category: they may involve tableware and professional equipment as well as furniture, lighting and interior concepts. In 2027, the Ambiente Projects Guide will make the offer even more accessible by providing visitors with a practical overview of suppliers offering solutions for the project business.
HOTELS: What can hospitality professionals take away from Ambiente Designer 2027 Raw Color and their“ Shades” concept for the Interior Design & Architecture Hub? Kastl: Color is one of the most

powerful tools in hospitality design. Our Ambiente Designer 2027, the Dutch studio Raw Color, makes exactly this relationship tangible in the Interior Design & Architecture Hub. Their concept“ Shades” explores the interaction of color, light and shadow and how these elements can create atmosphere and orientation. For hospitality projects, their approach is particularly inspiring: color can act as the first host, intuitively guiding guests through a space. The Hub translates this idea into an immersive experience.
HOTELS: If a hotel executive has only a few days in Frankfurt, what about Ambiente 2027 should they make sure not to miss? Kastl: I would recommend looking at Ambiente as a hospitality journey. You might start with Dining in Hall 12.1, where Table Select and HoReCa bring premium tabletop and professional solutions closer together. From there, head to the West Foyer of Hall 12.0 for the HoReCa Academy, with expert talks, fresh insights, and

networking opportunities. On Saturday, the Hotelier’ s Day offers a dedicated program for hotel and restaurant professionals. One piece of advice: Wear comfy footwear; you will cover some miles.
HOTELS: After so many years at Ambiente, what still excites you most when the doors open in Frankfurt and what is your advice for international visitors? Kastl: It is always the people. We expect participants from more than 170 nations in Frankfurt. Hospitality professionals meet suppliers, designers, and industry experts from all over the world. You immediately feel this unique and vibrant international atmosphere and the energy that comes with it. And there are always new products, concepts, and companies to discover – even for me. My advice to international visitors is to come prepared, but leave room for the unexpected. Some of the most valuable discoveries and conversations at Ambiente are the ones you did not plan.
