At 23 , German chef Cédric Staudenmayer launched Restaurant Cédric in Weinstadt , Germany , earning a Michelin star and the Young Chef Award within 18 months . Now , he has taken on a new role as brand ambassador for HEPP , the high-end manufacturer of tabletop , cutlery and buffet products . Staudenmayer ’ s connection with HEPP dates back to his grandfather , a former chef and restaurant owner who favored the brand ’ s CONTOUR cutlery for its quality and design . Staudenmayer has restored his grandfather ’ s collection , integrating it into his restaurant ’ s regional and seasonal cuisine . ADA COSMETICS RELEASES NEW SUSTAINABILITY REPORT
ADA Cosmetics , a manufacturer of skincare products and dispensers for the hotel industry , has published its second sustainability report . The new report highlights milestones in ADA Cosmetics ’ sustainability efforts between 2022 and 2023 . “ At ADA Cosmetics , we are committed to the belief that success and environmental stewardship must align . As a top provider of hotel cosmetics and accessories , we are proud that our products represent both sustainability and excellence ,” said Lutz Hübner , CEO at ADA Cosmetics . “ We aim to help the hotel industry address current challenges so that our world remains a desirable place to live and continues to invite people to travel .” A 2023 highlight was ADA Cosmetics ’ achievement of Cradle to Cradle ® Silver certification for its entire product portfolio . Additionally , the German-based company joined SEDEX ( Supplier Ethical Data Exchange ) to reinforce its commitment to social responsibility . In the EcoVadis rating , a globally recognized sustainability index , ADA Cosmetics earned silver status , placing it among the top 10 percent of evaluated companies . During the CSR report period , ADA Cosmetics further decarbonized all production sites , achieving a total waste reduction of 20 %. Furthermore , ADA Cosmetics has been transitioning from conventional paper packaging to FSC-certified and recycled paper , including FSC Mix paper sachets for its new dry amenities collection .
