BLANCO PROFESSIONAL NAMES NEW LEADERSHIP
Blanco Professional — based in Oberderdingen , Germany , and part of the Blanc & Fischer family holding — appointed Egon Kofler chief executive officer , managing the group together with Michael Huber , chief operating officer . A specialist in change management and lean enterprise , Kofler has more than 33 years of international experience in Blanc & Fischer family holding sub-groups , including E . G . O . subsidiaries in Austria , Croatia , Slovenia and Turkey . Most recently , he was CEO of the Italian Defendi Group , where he oversaw a restructuring .
Blanco Professional also named Bernd Rupprecht director / head of sales catering . Rupprecht has many years of sales experience in both structural alignment and operational implementation , with a focus on clear structures and goal-oriented organization . Prior to this appointment , he was director / head of sales electronic surface cooking at E . G . O . Elektro-Geräte in Switzerland , responsible for the Southern Europe , Middle East and South America sales regions .
SWYFT PARTNERS WITH CVS TO REDEFINE THE SUNDRIES STORE

Automated retail company Swyft partnered with CVS to bring fully-managed , contactless kiosks to hotel lobbies across the United States . These stores supply travel essentials , health products , snacks and PPE , while providing guests safe 24-hour-a-day retail access with contactless purchasing .

INTELITY PENS DEAL WITH NYC HOTEL

Alto-Shaam is the first manufacturer to receive an Extraordinary Service Award .
Intelity signed a deal with Gansevoort Meatpacking in New York City , New York , to provide mobile capabilities to both guests and staff . The Meatpacking District ’ s hotel will implement the Intelity platform , including a new , branded mobile app that delivers control to guests , and GEMS , a back-office tool that streamlines operations .
With the new app in place , contactless service will become a core piece of the guest experience . Before arrival , guests can check in and activate their digital room key , allowing them to bypass the front desk when they reach the property . Throughout their stay , guests use the app to make reservations , or request contactless dining and services . The Intelity suite of staff management tools will help manage new procedures . Automation and deep business insights save staff time and support constant process improvements , giving employees what they need to deliver even better service , according to Intelity .
