SCHOLL , manufacturer of professional kitchen technology , is celebrating 75 years of successful operation . The German company delivers products to nearly 100 countries , serving international hotel chains , catering companies , retail gastronomy , system catering and more . Its product range includes heat-retaining units and services , as well as mobile solutions and induction technology .
Gustav Scholl founded the company in 1945 . One of its first products was a round plate warmer , a classic still exported worldwide . In 2020 , SCHOLL has more than 90 staff members and its production facilities ’ technical equipment is considered state of the art . The company ’ s continued investments in modern machines have increased its production capacity , setting the course for an optimized production flow . Data , video and voice technology company Allbridge is merging with Ipanema Solutions , a technology engineering , systems design and project management provider for new build hotels . Ipanema offers brand-approved technology design and implementation to streamline the process of deploying converged networks and smart building technologies . The company enables developers to reduce long-term technology management costs and implement reliable , enterprise-class infrastructure .
As hospitality looks for a more unified technology experience , adding Ipanema ’ s offerings to Allbridge ’ s suite further enhances the latter ’ s end-to-end offering to include new construction planning capabilities . The companies plan to combine expertise to simplify the implementation of converged network solutions , bringing one connected experience to hotels .
10 YEARS OF THE M-IQ FLIGHT-TYPE DISHWASHER
This year , MEIKO celebrates a decade of its bestselling flighttype dishwasher , the M-iQ . The dishwashers use an intelligent air management system to retain heated air , redirecting it within the machine to lower energy costs . Self-cleaning active filters wash the water and remove soils at various stages to purify wash water , reducing detergent consumption , while wash arms and dynamics designed for exacting coverage of wares reduce water use . The machines also have user-friendly glass multilingual touchscreen displays . An independent medical device-testing laboratory certified that the dishwashers inactivate COVID-19 in a single wash cycle .
“ The results we ’ ve seen since installing the M-iQ have been simply incredible ,” said Larry Green of PEAK Event Services , which purchased the first M-iQ sold in the United States . “ In our first year , we saved over US $ 30,000 on the cost of supplies and almost US $ 75,0000 in payroll costs .”
